Ronald McDonald Charity Home Visitation

A short post from me here. Just to update my dearest blog readers, I'm now a member of Sunway Social Society.=D Doing social works has always been my passion and I don't know how, but just it was such a coincidence that I've got to join this group. I love joining and being involved with clubs and societies activities during my high school days but when it comes to uni level, I lost the burning passion in me. If you've been following me since the early days of my blog, you would definitely know how far I've went with my St.John Ambulance society. Back to present, I'm now currently involved with some activities in this society, One of them would be this one which I'm blogging about right now, my first visit to the Ronald McDonald Charity Home in HUKM, Cheras.

Besides, I'm also involved with organising an annual dinner night for Pink Triangle Foundation whose company is also involve in social and charity works. But my biggest involvement would be organising the 30 Hours Famine Camp in this coming August. I've organised plenty of camps for St.John last time. Organising an everage of 4-5 camps a year and attending 4-5 camps a year which means in total, an average of 10 camps a year for me. Mind you, those are just St.John camps alone, I haven't include prefects camp and church camp. I basically spent most my high school holidays attending camps and trainings, this explains perfectly why my mum complained so much last time.=) But after almost 3 years of not organising camps, here am I organising one for my uni. It's a great feeling, especially when you remember back the good old days of me organising camps with my fellow friends. I wish I could do the same thing with this upcoming camp. I hope not to repeat the same old mistakes that I did when organised thos camps last time and apply what I've learned last time into this camp. All in all, I do really hope that this 30 Hours Famine Camp would be a huge success and a memorable one for me.

Not to forget, pictures from today's visitation :

If there's anything or anyone that moved me so much, then it would be this phrase that I've always keep to myself :

Mother Theresa once quoted, "We ourselves often feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean but the ocean would be less because of that missing drop".
