Home Is Where You Belong

My last post in Ipoh before going back to KL tomorrow morning.

I hate this feeling. It's complicated. When I'm in KL, I don't feel like going back to Ipoh. But when I'm back in Ipoh, I don't feel like going back to KL.

Ipoh is a paradise to me. Free from classes, examinations, and assignments. Life's really relaxing over here. People here is more friendly. Uni life is really competitive. Everyone is dying to be the best and I could describe them just like the BM peribahasa, "Bagai enau di dalam belukar, melepaskan puck masing-masing". I dislike living in this environment. Not to say that I'm not one but I'm trying my best not to be one. I want to succeed but not in a way which I will feel bad even if I do well. There are many more things in our lives which are more important. Anyhow, I'll pull my socks up and do my best to compete with them. I'll prove them wrong that their way may not be the best.

Besides, in Ipoh, I do not need to bother about waking up early in the morning and also the traffic jam! I do not need to worry about what to eat as mum will prepare for me. I do not need to worry about money cause I have my parents as my walking bank at home. The best of all is that I do not need to face the hectic life I have in KL. As you can see, how comfortable my life is in Ipoh. Not to say that I hate KL a lot, I love KL. I've already set my sights to work in KL next time. No doubt about that. But I just love the fact that Ipoh gives me a more home feeling. Everywhere is just nearby. I've got my family here, all my friends here, and my church as well. I can go out and just hangout with different people every night. I love hanging out with my friends till late at night which I could hardly do that in KL. Nothing beats a great nightout with your buddies, chatting and teasing all night long.

Anyway, back to reality, I need to end my writing here. I need sufficient sleep as I'll be driving back to KL later at 9am. Till then, I'll see you guys on my next post. Take care and God bless.
